As we begin another season of storms, we have to take time to reflect what this really means this year. This is only the third time in recorded history we have had named storms before hurricane season began, once in 1887 and again in 1908. Is that a sign to come this season?
Forecasters
are predicting a “normal” season with 9 to 15 named Tropical Storms, with as
many as 4 to 8 becoming hurricanes. The 2012 storm names are:

to Hurricane resources, including understanding hurricanes, preparations and a
supply check list.
Of course when water intrusion does occur,
make sure you use a company that is certified in Water Damage in your area. The
worse thing that can happen is your house not fully drying and encountering
mold. Check with the IICRC.org for a listing of certified professionals in your
area.
